For schools that use the Service, NxGeneration, LLC acts as a "School Official" as defined under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We access and process student education records only as directed by the school and for legitimate educational purposes.
Schools are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate consent and authority to share student records with us. Parents and eligible students may request access to or correction of educational records through their school administrators.
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If student data for minors is entered by school or organization staff under appropriate school authority and FERPA compliance, we process such data only on behalf of the school.
